Since September 14, in more than one month, the Stomatology Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (Zhejiang Stomatology Hospital) led a medical team into the kindergartens and nearly 5,000 preschoolers in 9 kindergartens were inspected, and more than 3,000 of them were operated with local application of fluoride. The project for preschoolers was an important part of " Growing Up with Healthy Oral" based on the National Oral Health Comprehensive Intervention Program for Children, which was jointly supported by the central and local finances, and promoted by the CSA in 25 provinces, so as to improve the health level of children and reduce caries in deciduous teeth. There is the first year for Zhejiang Province to carry out local application of fluoride, and as sponsoring unit of Zhejiang Medical And Health Service Center, ZJUSS was responsible for the promotion, guidance and training of the project in Zhejiang Province, and it also undertook the concrete implementation in Xiacheng District, Gangzhou city.
